ANGSARA LAGUNA PHUKET
Being a luxury resort in Laguna Phuket, Asia’s first integrated resort, the beachfront Angsana Laguna Phuket is highlighted by its chic and spacious guest rooms and public areas that are finished with stylish furnishings. Set between the pristine beauty of the lagoon and sandy beach of the Andaman Sea, the resort provides ample space and quieter corners in which to truly relax .
Dine al fresco under a pillared porch or in air-conditioned comfort at Bodega & Grill, which is set right by the pool, or try scrumptious buffet breakfasts or casual dining in Market Place.
When the sun sets, watch the atmosphere at XANA electrify with live entertainment, the latest music and a sumptuous spread of tapas. The dining options at Angsana Laguna Phuket are endless!
The fitness centre includes yoga and aerobic classes, and the Laguna complex has its own 18-hole golf course. Try a sailing lesson on the lagoon or take a bike ride around the 1,000 acres of parkland.
With one of the finest beaches in Phuket, the Beach Club offers the widest selection of motorised and non-motorised water sports.
ELEPHANT HILLS JUNGLE SAFARI
The two camps, the Elephant Camp and the floating Rainforest Camp, are both situated in Khao Sok, part of Southern Thailand’s largest stretch of primary Rainforest. Despite being tucked away in the Rainforest, these camps are easily reachable from popular beach destinations like Phuket, Khao Lak, Khanom, Krabi and even Koh Samui.
Thailand’s first luxury tented camp takes African-inspired safari tents and blends them with a tropical environment amid rainforest covered mountains and limestone cliffs. Guests can spend a few days getting close to nature and experience the Asian Elephant, discover the lakes and rivers of the National Park in a canoe and trek into the forest to learn about the flora and fauna of this unique destination.
Due to ethical reasons Elephant Hills does not offer elephant riding. Instead, guests will get to feed, wash and interact with Asia’s largest land animal.
The main area at of each camp consists of a semi-open-air restaurant and a well-stocked bar. Each meal offers a selection of international and local dishes all served in a buffet style format. In the evening, discover the secrets of the traditional Thai kitchen at the cooking demonstration as one of the experienced chefs shows guests how to create a famous Thai dish.
After an exciting day, sip on an ice cold beer or a freshly prepared piña colada at the Jungle Explorer’s Bar while exchanging travel tales with other guests.
